Asked Questions
Who is eligible to receive a food hamper?
Anyone experiencing food insecurity in Calgary or the surrounding areas is eligible. You must complete the registration form and provide the required identification for all household members.
What documents do I need to provide when registering?
You’ll need: Full names, dates of birth, and ID numbers for each household member. Images of valid ID (photo ID for adults, any ID for minors) . Your home address and contact information. Income and expense details
How often can I receive a food hamper?
Clients can receive one hamper every 2 months. We kindly ask that you only request a hamper when eligible, to help us serve as many families as possible.
Is there a limit on how many hampers I can receive in total?
Yes. Each household is allowed a maximum of 3 hamper pickups. After that, we recommend reaching out to other food support services in the community.
Can two people from the same household register separately?
No. Only one food hamper per household is allowed at a time. Duplicate bookings under the same address or family name will be declined.
What’s included in the food hamper?
Each hamper includes essential non-perishable food items. Depending on donations, we may also include fresh produce, bread, hygiene, or household items (not guaranteed).
Can I come without bringing my ID?
No. You must bring the same physical or digital copies of ALL the IDs you uploaded during registration. This is required to verify your information.

How can I donate to support the food bank?
You can donate online through our website or bring non-perishable food items to our drop-off location. Monetary donations help us purchase supplies and expand our reach.
